"How fortuitous we think this is. VSCA is twenty-five years
old this year and our wonderful Canteen Manageress celebrated
her 25th Anniversary at our College this year also.
Beulah Brann has been a huge part of our College for all
of those years. She has run a profitable (every one of those
years) canteen with only the assistance of parent/student
volunteers.
Nothing is out of place in Mrs Brann's canteen. It is immaculate!
Not a spot of dust anywhere to be found.
Students who have left for many years remark on their return
that they always remember Mrs Brann's salad rolls.
This high esteem in which Beulah is held is demonstrated
by our students who have produced a DVD 'A Tribute to Mrs
Brann'. Generations of Rochester Secondary College students
have found Mrs Brann kind, helpful and friendly and she produces
great food!
Beulah also runs the canteen at all the College socials and
has missed only one of these functions [in twenty-five years!]
which are held out of school hours - hot weather or cold weather
she is always there!
Why should she be a VSCA winner - dedication, excellence,
even endurance, plus she is the BEST!"
