"Pat has been a volunteer worker in the canteen & undertook
the role of canteen manager (voluntary) when the previous
manager resigned from the position 8 years ago.
Pat first became involved in the canteen when her grandchildren
attended our school & has continued & extended her involvement
since this time. Her youngest grandchild is now completing
Year 12.
Pat has developed a very positive rapport with our students,
staff & parents.
She is always willing to try new ideas & to support initiatives
which increase the range of healthy food choices for students.
Pat has recently expanded her role to support the introduction
of a breakfast program for students.
Without Pat's dedication & commitment to our canteen, we
would not be able to provide a food service for our students.
She would be a very worthy recipient for an award."
