"I would like to nominate Robyn Innes, our Canteen Manager,
for the Award of Manager (Paid) in a Primary School.
Robyn is an enthusiastic and hard working Canteen Manager
who gives her time well beyond the 10 hours she is paid for.
Robyn is friendly and extremely kind. She is constantly trying
to please all the students and staff, she is loved by all.
Our school is very multicultural and Robyn endeavours to
offer food choices to suit the children in our school. She
is constantly reviewing her menu and likes to offer a variety
during the year with both a summer and winter menu. Robyn
would never see a child go hungry, and is always willing to
help out a child in need.
Robyn is a quiet achiever who performs her job to a high
standard. She keeps the canteen spotless. In fact, from my
position as School Secretary, apart from making the announcement
to the children that lunches are ready to be collected, I
quite often don't even notice she is here.
Apart from her usual menu, Robyn is willing to work within
themes of the school (eg Italian Day) and provide special
lunch time menus to fit the theme."
