"Heather has instituted a free breakfast - toast & milo - for any student who would like it. Supplies come from her initiative in gaining sponsors.

"She also runs an annual Big Breakfast for the whole school - supplied by sponsors - cooked by the local police.

"She has revitalised the canteen. She has taught/trained many students in food handling. She runs the canteen at a $20,000 to $25,000 annual profit. She involves parents as helpers.

"She is a living treasure."
