"Jan has managed our school canteen for the past 11 years.
In this time, she has managed the canteen's affairs in a very
thorough and efficient way, whilst at the same time becoming
an invaluable part of our school community. Jan develops an
excellent rapport with students, parent helpers and teachers
- she has a bright and engaging personality with a 'no-nonsense'
approach to organising the overall way in which the canteen
operates. She and her partner Gayleen have been largely responsible
for the success of the canteen financially, which has contributed
thousands of dollars to the school community every year. Jan
responds to the needs of the students, is flexible and responsive,
meticulous in her handling of food and in meeting healthy
eating guidelines, and is a great asset to our school community."
