Are you from a school canteen?

Small or large? Primary, secondary or P-12? Government, non government or catholic?

Are you involved with a food service at your school - a school canteen or tuckshop, special lunch days or preparing and serving food to students?

The Victorian School Canteen Association (VSCA) Inc is run by schools, for schools. We help bring school canteen people around Victoria together to share ideas and information, compare notes and support one another.

We aim to help school canteen people to help each other to provide the best possible food service for our schools.

The Victorian School Canteen Association (VSCA) is an incorporated association (A0013400G).

VSCA was the first school canteen association in Australia. It was founded in the early 1980s and legally incorporated in 1987.

This makes VSCA the oldest school canteen association in Australia.
We've been helping schools to happy munching for over 20 years!

A voluntary committee manages VSCA. Committee members are from schools around Victoria, and are elected at the Annual General Meeting each November.

*(If you would like to know more about the VSCA Committee, please contact us.)

VSCA is an
independent, self-help,
community-based, non government organisation
.

It is for school representatives involved or interested in any kind of school food service: canteens, tuckshops, cafeterias, special lunch days, etc.

VSCA has no government funding and is not a government body. We are a network for school canteen people to work together and help one another.

Our members include school canteen managers, canteen helpers, canteen committees, canteen lessees, principals, school councillors, teachers, bursars, parents.

Our member schools include:

    • small and large schools

    • primary, secondary and P-12 colleges

    • city and country schools

    • government, catholic and independent schools
